MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	Apprehension of Suspected War Criminal.

1. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 11 Feb 47, file AG 000.5 (11 Feb 47) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1517), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one SHIMIZU, Shigeo, Civilian, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said SHIMIZU's name for the reason that SHIMIZU is the same suspect whose name appeared on L. S. Apprehension Memorandum dated 5 February 1947, (SCAPIN 1506). This name appears as the sixth name on Page No. 4 of the Memorandum dated 11 Feb 47.
