SUBJECT

Apprehension of Suspected War Criminals.

Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 7 Sep 46, file AG 000.5 (7 Sep 46) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1188), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver ARABANE, Yoshio, EMAMI, Nobuo, KAWAMURA, Kuniko, SHIBATA, Zujiro and SUZUKI, Masao to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete the names of the above mentioned Japanese for the reason there is insufficient data available to identify them at this time. ARABANE's name appears as the fifth name on Page No. 1,
EMAMI's name appears as the first name on Page No. 2,
KAWAMURA's name appears as the fourth name on Page No. 4,
SHIBATA's name appears as the thirteenth name on Page No. 6,
and SUZUKI's name appears as the fifth name on Page No. 7 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
