SUBJECT | Apprehension of Suspected War Criminals. |
1. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 11 Sep 46, file AG 000.5 (11 Sep 46)LS-R, (SCAPIN - 1194), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one ASAEDA, Shigeharu, Major, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said ASAEDA's name for the reason he is now detained in U.S.S.R. Territory. This name appears as the third name on Pago No. 1 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
2. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 7 Sep 46, file AG 000.5 (7 Sep 46)LS-R, (SCAPIN - 1188), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one IKEDA, (FNU), Corporal, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said IKEDA's name for the reason he is no longer required. This name appears as the third name on Page No. 3 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
3. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 5 Feb 47, file AG 000.5 (5 Feb 47)LS-R, (SCAPIN - 1506), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one IKETANI, Hanjiro, Major General, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said IKETANI's name for the reason he is now detained in U.S.S.R. Territory. This name appears as the third name on Pago No. 2 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
4. Memorandum to the Imperial Japanese Government dated 15 Jul 46, file AG 000.5 (15 Jul 46) LS-R, (SCAPIN 1064), wherein the Imperial Japanese Government was directed to deliver one KITAZAWA, Sadajiro, Major General, to the Commanding General, EIGHTH Army at Sugamo Prison (Tokyo Detention Camp), at the earliest possible date, is amended to delete said KITAZAWA's name for the reason he is now detained in U.S.S.R. Territory. This name appears as the eighth name on Page No.2 of the above mentioned Memorandum.
