MEMORANDUM FOR	IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.
THROUGH	Central Liaison Office, Tokyo.
SUBJECT	SS "Sagami Maru," ex British Cargo Vessel SS "Josephine Moller,".

1. Reference is made to memorandum to the Japanese Government, file AG 560 (10 Jan 47)CPC/FP, SCAPIN 1457, 10 January 1947, subject, "SS 'Sagami Maru,' ex British Cargo Vessel, SS 'Josephine Moller,' from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers.
2. Paragraph 1 of reference memorandum above is amended to read as follows:
"The SS 'Sagami Maru,' ex British cargo vessel SS 'Josephine Moller,' will be retained in Japanese waters until August 1948 to be operated for the purpose of laying and repairing submarine cables as directed by the Supreme Commander for the Allied powers."
