1. Reference is made to:
a. Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33 (11 Oct 46) GC, (SCAPIN-1262), dated 11 October 1946, subject: Repatriation of Natives of Saipan and Other Pacific Ocean Area Islands and Manchuria.
b. Memorandum from the Central Liaison Office Number 5320 (RF), dated 10 October 1946, subject as above.
2. Authority is granted to repatriate Maria Dias (Japanese name - Reiko Tanaka) to Saipan in accordance with instructions contained in reference 1 a above.
3. This memorandum confirms verbal instructions given to Central Liaison Office (Mr. H. Takagi) on 11 October 1946.

1. Reference is made to:
a. Letter form Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33(11 Oct 46)GC, dated 11 October 1946, subject as above.
b. Memorandum for Imperial Japanese Government, file AG 014.33 (15 Oct 46)GC, (SCAPIN-1270) dated 15 October 1946, subject as above, attached as inclosure hereto.
2. Request routine supervision of compliance with provisions of memorandum paragraph 1 b above.
3. This letter confirms telephonic instructions issued to Eighth Army Military Government Section (Major Duff) on 11 October 1946.
4. The Commanding Generals IX Corps and 1st Cavalry Division have been furnished copies of this letter and inclosure hereto.
