1. Reference is made to:
a. Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 370.05 (7 May 46) GC, (SCAPIN-927), dated 7 May 1946, subject: "Repatriation", as amended.
b. Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33 (27 Aug 46) GC, (SCAPIN-1159), dated 27August 1946, subject as above.
c. Memorandum from the Central Liaison Office, Number 4971 (RF), dated 27 September 1946, subject: "Repatriation of Natives of Saipan and Other Pacific Ocean Area Islands and Manchuria."
d. Memorandum from the Central Liaison Office, Number 5262 (RF), dated 9 October 1946, subject: "Repatriation of Natives of Saipan and Other Pacific Ocean Area Islands and Manchuria."
2. Authority is granted to repatriate, in accordance with instructions contained in reference paragraph 1 a above, those individuals listed in:
a. List B "Those who are desirous and eligible of repatriation to SAIPAN and OTHER PCIFIC OCEAN AREAS," attached to memorandum reference paragraph 1 c above.
b. Memorandum reference paragraph 1 d above.
3. The Keyaki departing Uraga on or about 15 October 1946 for Guam is designated to repatriate those persons authorized by provisions of this memorandum.
4. The Imperial Japanese Government will:
Notify them of this authorization to be repatriated.
b. Insure their arrival at the Uraga Reception Center prior to 15 October 1946 and their outloading on shipping as designated herein.

SUBJECT: Repatriation of Natives of Saipan and Other Islands.
TO: Commanding General, Eighth Army, APO 343.
1. Reference is made to:
a. Letter from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33(27 Aug 46)GC, dated 27 August 1946, subject as above.
b. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, file AG 014.33(11 Oct 46)GC, (SCAPIN-1262) dated 11 October 1946, subject as above, attached as inclosure number 1 hereto.
2. The list of individuals, authorized by reference 1 b above to return to their home islands, is attached hereto as inclosure number 2.
3. Request routine supervision of compliance with provisions of memorandum, paragraph 1 b above.
4. The Commanding Generals, IX Corps and 1st Cavalry Division have been furnished copies of this letter and inclosures hereto.
