1. Reference is made to:
a. Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 370.05 (7 May 46) GC, (SCAPIN-927), dated 7 May 1946, subject: "Repatriation" as amended.
b. Memorandum from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33 (20 Sep 46) GC, (SCAPIN-1221), dated 20 September 1946, subject as above.
c. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government, file AG 014.33 (4 Oct 46) GC, (SCAPIN-1251), dated 4 October 1946, subject as above.
d. Memorandum from the Central Liaison Office, Number 5130 (RF), dated 4 October 1946, subject as above.
2. Authority is granted to repatriate the individuals as requested in memorandum reference paragraph 1 d above in accordance with instructions contained in reference paragraphs 1 a, b, and c above.
3. The Imperial Japanese Government will, in regard to those persons listed in reference 1d above:
a. Notify them of this authorization to be repatriated.
b. Insure their arrival at the Uraga Reception Center prior to 15 October 1946 and their outloading on shipping as designated in reference 1 c above.

1. Reference is made to:
a. Letter form Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33(20 Sep 46)GC, dated 20 September 1946, subject as above.
b. Letter from the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, file AG 014.33 (4 Oct 46)GC, dated 4 October 1946, subject as above.
c. Memorandum for Imperial Japanese Government, file AG 014.33 (9 Oct 46)GC, (SCAPIN-1257) dated 9 October 1946, subject as above, attached as inclosure number 1 hereto.
2. The list of additional individuals authorized by reference 1c above to return to Bonin Islands is attached hereto as inclosure number 2.
3. Request routine supervision of compliance with provisions of memorandum paragraph 1 c above.
4. The Commanding Generals IX Corps and 1st Cavalry Division have been furnished copies of this letter and inclosure hereto.
