MEMORANDUM FOR

IMPERIAL JAPANESE GOVERNMENT.

Subject

Application for Removal of Dengensha, Ltd., from the Schedule of Restricted Concerns.

1. Referense are the following Memoranda:
a. Central Liaison Office Memorandum No. 2651 (EF), 31 May 1946, subject: “Applications of Dengensha Ltd. and Japan Radio Co., Ltd. re. Release of Former from Schedule of Restricted Concerns (LO 570/265).”;
b. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, AG 004 (8 Dec 45 ESS/AC, 8 December 1945, (SCAPIN-403), subject: “Establishment of a Schedule of Restricted Concerns.”;
c. Memorandum for the Imperial Japanese Government from General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers, AG 004 (14 Mar 46) ESS/AC, 14 March 1946, (SCAPIN-813), subject: “Addition of Tokyo-Shibaura Electric Company, Ltd.; Japan Radio Company, Ltd.; Oki Electric Company, Ltd.; Oki Securities Company, Ltd.; Oki Communications Instrument Company, Ltd.; Matsushita Electric Industries Company, Ltd.; Japan Iron and Steel Company, Ltd.; and their subsidiaries and affiliates to Schedule of Restricted Concerns.”
2. Reference Memorandum 1a, above, forwards application of Dengensha Ltd., and Japan Radio Company, Ltd., for the removal of Dengensha, Ltd., from the Schedule of Restricted Concerns established by reference Memorandum 1b, above, to which the latter named Company was added by reference Memorandum 1c, above.
3. Dengensha, Ltd., (listed in reference Memorandum 1c, above, as Dengensha Denshin Denwa K. K.), is hereby removed from the Schedule of Restricted Concerns and the addition thereto, referred to in subparagraphs 1b and 1c, above, respectively.
