        <ArticleCaption>(Partial Amendments to the Ordinance concerning Restriction on Navigation, etc.)</ArticleCaption>
        <ArticleTitle>Article 1.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Ordinance concerning Restriction on Navigation, etc.(Ministry of Transportation Ordinance No.40 of 1945) shall be partially amended as follows:</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
          <AmendProvision>
            <AmendProvisionSentence>
              <Sentence>In Article 1, ", if, in the event of an international dispute, he deems it urgently necessary for the maintenance of safety of Japanese vessels or for other purposes" shall be added next to "The Minister of Transportation may" and ", designating routes or areas or vessels." shall be amended as "to be effected between Japan and areas outside of Japan or between areas outside of Japan, designating routes or areas."</Sentence>

              <Sentence>In Article 3, ", for the maintenance of safety of vessels," shall be added next to "The Minister of Transportation may" and "the procedure of entry and clearance, the hoisting of ensigns, signal and house flags or the method of communication" shall be amended as "the procedure of entry and clearance or the hoisting of ensigns, signal and house flags" .</Sentence>

        <ArticleCaption>(Ordinance and Order to be Continued)</ArticleCaption>
        <ArticleTitle>Article 2.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Ordinance as provided for in the preceding Article and the Cabinet Order for Exchange of the Vessels of the Korean Mail Steamphip Co., Ltd. with the State-owned Vessels (Cabinet Order No.25 of 1950) shall be valid as law even after the day of the first coming into force of the Treaty of Peace with Japan.</Sentence>

      <Article Num="3">
        <ArticleCaption>(Abolition of Orders and Ordinances)</ArticleCaption>
        <ArticleTitle>Article 3.</ArticleTitle>

            <Sentence>The orders and ordinances mentioned below shall be abolished:</Sentence>

            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Regulations for Special Use and Expropriation of Motor Vehicles (Ministry of Transportation Ordinance No.23 of 1945);</Sentence>

            <ItemTitle>(2)</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Ordinance concerning Business Report of Companies in connection with Shipbuilding Enterprises (Ministry of Transportation Ordinance No.24 of 1945);</Sentence>

            <ItemTitle>(3)</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Ordinance concerning Necessary Steps to Secure and Increase Cargo-handling Capacity at Ports and Harbors and Capacity of Repairing Vessels, etc.(Ministries of Welfare and Transportation Ordinance No.1 of 1945);</Sentence>

              <Sentence>Ordinance concerning Application of a Part of the Mariners Law, etc. to the Persons Serving on Board Vessels Operated in the Repatriation or Mine Sweeping Services by the Government Officer in Charge of Repatriation (Imperial Ordinance No.285 of 1946);</Sentence>

            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Cabinet Order for Granting of Subsidy to be Appropriated for Wages of Standby Reserve Seamen (Cabinet Order No.281 of 1950).</Sentence>

      </Article>
      <Article Num="4">
        <ArticleCaption>(Transitionary Provision concerning Penal Provisions)</ArticleCaption>
        <ArticleTitle>Article 4.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>With respect to application of the penal provisions to conducts acted before the enforcement of this Law, the precedents under the former provisions shall apply.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>

    <SupplProvision>
      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>This Law shall come into force as from the day of the first coming into force of the Treaty of Peace with Japan.</Sentence>
