The Law for the Enforcement of the Imperial House Economy Law (Law No.113 of 1947) shall be partially amended as follows: Article 2 shall be amended as follows:

Article 2. The fixed sums stipulated in Article 2, Item 2 of the Law shall be specified as follows: 1. With regard to The Emperor and those members of the Imperial Family stipulated in Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Law, the total amount in value of properties given by them all shall be fixed at 3,700,000 yen and that of properties received by them all shall be fixed at 1,200,000 yen. 2. With regard to the members of the Imperial Family excepting those mentioned in the preceding item, the amount in value of properties given or received by each of them shall be fixed at 150,000 yen respectively.

Article 3 to Article 6 inclusive shall be amended as follows:

Article 3 to Article 6 inclusive. Deleted.

In Article 7, "29,000,000 yen" shall be amended as "30,000,000 yen" . In Article 8, "730,000 yen" shall be amended as "1,400,000 yen" . In the principal provisions, next to Article 9, the following one Article shall be added:

Article 10. The sums of annuities to be disbursed out of the Imperial Family Appropriations prescribed in Article 6, Paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Law, in case a circumstance occurs to require their payment to be made or suspended in the course of the fiscal year at a time other than fixed, shall be the amounts calculated on the basis of months, including the month in which the said circumstance arises. In the case of the preceding paragraph, if circumstances requiring a payment to be suspended and to be made on a new ground arise in succession in the same month, the sum to be disbursed for the said month shall be the larger of the two amounts to be calculated.
