(Partial Amendments to the Economic Stabilization Board Establishment Law) Article 1. The Economic Stabilization Board Establishment Law (Law No.164 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows: In Chapter III of the Contents, "Part 4 Price Adjustment Kodan (Article 32)" shall be amended as "Part 4 Auxiliary Organs (Article 32)." Article 5 item (16) shall be amended as follows: (16) Deleted. In the Table of Article 15 paragraph 1, Name Purpose"Materials Demand and Supply Adjustment Council To advise the President of the Economic Stabilization Board in regard to the fundamental policies underlying the administration of the Temporary Demand and Supply Adjustment Law. Resources Council To make research and deliberation concerning efficient and coordinated utilization of essential resources and make necessary reports and recommendations to the President. Economic Reconstruction and Reorganization Council To exercise powers placed thereunder by the provisions of the Enterprises Reconstruction and Reorganization Law (Law No.40 of 1946) and the Financial Institutions Reconstruction and Reorganization Law (Law No.39 of 1946). National Food and Nutrition Council To make research and deliberation, at the inquiry of the president, concerning the stabilization of national food supply and improvement of nutrition, and to make recommendations to the President concerning these matters."shall be amended as Name Purpose " Resources Council To make research and deliberation concerning efficient and coordinated utilization of essential resources and make necessary reports and recommendations to the President. Coordinated River Development Research Council To maintain liaison and consult with the administrative organs concerned and persons of learning and experience, concerning establishment of plans for coordinated development of major rivers, and to recommend the results thereof to the President. (Rice Price Deliberation Council) Article 32. The Rice Price Deliberation Council shall be established as an auxiliary organ of the Price Agency. 2 The Rice Price Deliberation Council shall investigate and deliberate on the fundamental matters concerning the decision of the prices of rice and other staple foods, in compliance with the inquiry of the Director of the Price Agency and the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry. 3 The organization, function and members and other personnel of the Rice Price Deliberation Council shall be provided for by Cabinet Order unless otherwise provided for by other law (including ordinance issued under law).

(Partial Amendment to the Enterprise Reconstruction and Reorganization Law) Article 2. The Enterprise Reconstruction and Reorganization Law shall be partially amended as follows: In the Contents, "Chapter VI Economic Reconstruction and Reorganization Council" shall be amended as "Chapter VI Deleted." Chapter VI shall be amended as follows: Chapter VI. Deleted.

Articles 44 to 46 inclusive. Deleted.

(Partial Amendments to the Law for Partial Amendment to the Enterprise Reconstruction and Reorganization Law) Article 3. The Law for partial amendments to the Enterprise Reconstruction and Reorganization Law (Law No.44 of 1951) shall be partially amended as follows: The provisions of Article 45 paragraph 1, as amended, shall be deleted.

(Partial Amendments to the Financial Institutions Reconstruction and Reorganization Law) Article 4. The Financial Institutions Reconstruction and Reorganization Law (Law No.39 of 1946) shall be partially amended as follows: Article 2 paragraph 3 shall be deleted. In Article 7 paragraph 2 "with the concurrence of the Economic Reconstruction and Reorganization Committee" shall be deleted. In Article 41 paragraphs 1 and 2, ", with the concurrence of the Economic Reconstruction and Reorganization Committee" shall be deleted. In Article 47 paragraph 1, "The Economic Reconstruction and Reorganization Committee, when necessity arises for carrying out the proper liquidation of the old account of a financial institution, may, with the authorization of the competent Minister" shall be amended as "The competent Minister may, when necessity arises for carrying out the proper liquidation of the old account of a financial institution" , and paragraph 2 of the same Article shall be deleted. Article 49 shall be amended as follows:

In Article 50 paragraph 3, ", with the concurrence of the Economic Reconstruction and Reorganization Committee" shall be deleted. Article 61-2 shall be deleted.
