(Partial Amendments to the Fisheries Law) Article 1. The Fisheries Law (Law No.267 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 67 paragraph 3, next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" shall be added "or the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . In Article 82 paragraph 2, next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . The heading of Article 109 shall be amended as "(Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission and Others)" ;and paragraph 1 of the same Article shall be amended as follows: The Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission shall be set up for the Seto Inland Sea, and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission, for the Ariake Sea. In paragraph 7 of the same Article, next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , and the same paragraph shall be made paragraph 9. Paragraph 5 and paragraph 6 of the same Article shall be made paragraph 7 and paragraph 8 respectively. In paragraph 4 of the same Article, next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "or the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , and the same paragraph shall be made paragraph 6. Paragraph 3 of the same Article shall be made paragraph 4;and next to the same paragraph the following one paragraph shall be added as paragraph 5: 5 The members of the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission shall consist of the following persons: (1) One person from each prefecture elected by mutual voting from among the members of the Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commissions set up within the area of the Ariake Sea; (2) Two persons appointed by the competent Minister from among persons of learning and experience. Next to paragraph 2 of the same Article, the following one paragraph shall be added as paragraph 3: 3 "The Ariake Sea" as named in paragraph 1 means the waters bounded by the straight lines specified in the following items and by shore lines: (1) The straight line from Sezumezaki, Nagasaki Prefecture to Tenjin-yama, Kumamoto Prefecture; (2) The straight line from Somegatake, Kumamoto Prefecture to Seto Sankakuten (124.6 M), Shigaki Village; (3) The straight line from Ebisuhana, Kumamoto Prefecture to Oyanodake; (4) The straight line from Misumiseto Lighthouse, Kumamoto Prefecture, passing Nakakamijima to Misumidake. The heading of Article 110 shall be amended as "(Instructions of Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission and Others)" ;and in the same Article, next to "the Seto Inland Sea" , shall be added "or the Ariake Sea" ;and next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "or the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . In Article 111, "the commissioners as mentioned in Article 109 paragraph 3 item (2)" shall be amended as "the members as mentioned in Article 109 paragraph 4 item (2), and in the case of the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission, the members as mentioned in paragraph 5 item (2) of the same Article" ; "the competent Minister, in case of the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , as "the competent Minister, in the case of the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" ;and "the commissioners, in case of the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , as "the members, in the case of the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . In Article 116 paragraph 3, next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "or the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . In Article 117, next to "the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . In paragraph 12 of the Supplementary Provisions, next to "Seto Inland Sea United Seaarea Fisheries Adjustment Commission" , shall be added "Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission," ;and "Article 109 paragraph 5" shall be amended as "Article 109 paragraph 7" .

(Partial Amendments to the Fisheries Agency Establishment Law) Article 2. The Fisheries Agency Establishment Law (Law No.78 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: In the table of Article 7-(6) paragraph 1, next to the paragraph of the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission, shall be added the following: Ariake Sea United Seaarea Fisheries Adjustment Commission To carry on fisheries adjustment in the Ariake Sea In paragraph 2 of the same Article, "and the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" shall be amended as ", the Seto Inland Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission and the Ariake Sea United Sea-area Fisheries Adjustment Commission" . The heading of Article 7-(7) shall be amended as "(Fisheries Adjustment Executive Office)" ;and in paragraph 1 of the same Article, next to "the Seto Inland Sea" , shall be added "and the Ariake Sea" ; "The Seto Inland Sea Fisheries Adjustment Executive Office" shall be amended as "The Seto Inland Sea Fisheries Adjustment Office and the Ariake Sea Fisheries Adjustment Executive Office" ;and in paragraph 2 of the same Article, next to "the City of Kobe" , shall be added "and the Ariake Sea Fisheries Adjustment Executive Office, in the City of Omuda," ;and in paragraph 3 of the same Article, next to "the Seto Inland Sea Fisheries Adjustment Executive Office, shall be added" and the Ariake Sea Fisheries Adjustment Executive Office".
