I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendment to the Postal Transfer Savings Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This fourth day of the fourth month of the twenty-sixth year of Showa (April 4, 1951) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.131 Law for Partial Amendment to the Postal Transfer Savings Law The Postal Transfer Savings Law (Law No.60 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: In the content index of the Postal Transfer Savings Law, "Section 1 Postal Transfer for Public Fund Section 2 Postal Transfer for Bond Section 3 Postal Transfer of Account Owner Living Abroad " shall be amended as " Section 1 Postal Transfer for Public Fund, etc. Section 2 Postal Transfer of Account Owner Living Abroad " Article 3 and Article 4 shall be amended as follows:

Article 3. (Security of the State.) The faith of the State is pledged to the payment of the deposits received to the transfer savings account, with accrued interest thereon.

Article 4. Deleted.

In Article 10 paragraph 1, "apply for the transfer and pay-out" shall be amended as "apply for the transfer, pay-out and other application or notification as prescribed by the Ministerial Ordinance," In the proviso to Anticle 17 paragraph 1, ", and on the excess, in case a balance exceeds 100,000 yen" shall be deleted. In Chapter 5, "Section 1. Postal Transfer for Public Fund" shall be amended as "Section 1. Postal Transfer for Public Funds, etc." and "Section 2. Postal Transfer for Bond" shall be deleted. Article 63 shall be amended as follows:

Article 63. (Charge of public utility.) The provisions from Article 58 to the preceding Article shall apply mutatis mutandis to the treatment dealing with nothing but receipts to the account of amount of pay-in or amount of transfer paid to the account owner, in the payment of charges of public utility, who is public utility body under the Public Utility Ordinance (Cabinet Order No.343 of 1950).

Article 64 and Article 65 shall be amended as follows:

Article 64 and Article 65. Deleted.

"Section 3. Postal Transfer of Account Owner Living Abroad" shall be amended as "Section 2. Postal Transfer of Account Owner Living Abroad" .
