    <LawTitle>Law for Partial Amendments to the Preventive Vaccination Law</LawTitle>
    <MainProvision>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The Preventive Vaccination Law (Law No.68 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows:</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
        <AmendProvision>
          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>In Chapter I, the following one Article shall be added next to Art.6:</Sentence>
          </AmendProvisionSentence>

            <Article Num="6_2">
              <ArticleTitle>Art.6-(2).</ArticleTitle>
              <Paragraph Num="1">
                <ParagraphNum/>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence>When a person who ought to have periodical preventive vaccination has received the preventive vaccination concerned conducted by other person than the mayor of city, town or village within the fixed period, he shall present the certificate under the provision of Art.19-(2) to the mayor of city, town or village within 10 days.</Sentence>

          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>Art.8 and Art.9 shall be amended as follows:</Sentence>

            <Article Num="8">
              <ArticleTitle>Art.8.</ArticleTitle>
              <Paragraph Num="1">
                <ParagraphNum/>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence>Deleted.</Sentence>
                </ParagraphSentence>
              </Paragraph>
            </Article>
            <Article Num="9">
              <ArticleTitle>Art.9.</ArticleTitle>
              <Paragraph Num="1">
                <ParagraphNum/>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence Function="main" Num="1">A person who has been unable to receive preventive vaccination within the fixed period owing to illness and other inevitable circumstances shall receive the preventive vaccination concerned within one month after such circumstances have ceased to exist. However, this shall not apply if the time of the extinction of such circumstances comes during the fixed period for the preventive vaccination concerned.</Sentence>

          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>In Art.19, "(including preventive vaccination for which the certificate has been presented in accordance with the provision of Art.6-(2))" shall be added next to "all preventive vaccinations" .</Sentence>

          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>In Chapter III, the following one Article shall be added next to Art.19:</Sentence>

          <NewProvision>
            <Article Num="19_2">
              <ArticleTitle>Art.19-(2).</ArticleTitle>
              <Paragraph Num="1">
                <ParagraphNum/>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence>Any doctor who has practised preventive vaccination shall not, in cases where the delivery of a certificate is requested with regard to the preventive vaccination, refuse it unless there is proper reason.</Sentence>
                </ParagraphSentence>
              </Paragraph>
              <Paragraph Num="2">
                <ParagraphNum>2</ParagraphNum>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence>The provision of Art.16 par.3 shall apply as to the delivery of certificate of the preceding paragraph correspondingly.</Sentence>
                </ParagraphSentence>
              </Paragraph>
            </Article>

        </AmendProvision>
        <AmendProvision>
          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>The main clause of Art.23 shall be amended as follows:</Sentence>
          </AmendProvisionSentence>
        </AmendProvision>
        <AmendProvision>
          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>The mayor of city, town or village shall, when he has practised preventive vaccination under the provisions of the Law, collect actual expenses of the inoculation from the persons who have received preventive vaccination or the protectors thereof as defined by Cabinet Order.</Sentence>

        </AmendProvision>
      </Paragraph>
    </MainProvision>
    <SupplProvision>
      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
      </Paragraph>
