I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendment to the Government Purchase of Low-Efficiency Vessels Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This thirtieth day of the third month of the twenty-sixth year of Showa (March 30, 1951) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.60 Law for Partial Amendment to the Government Purchase of Low-Efficiency Vessels Law The Government Purchase of Low-Efficiency Vessels Law (Law No.242 of 1950) shall be partially amended as follows: The following one Article shall be added next to Article 17:

(Special Provision for the Period of Custody, etc.) Article 17-(2). As for the application of the provisions of Article 15 to the preceding Article inclusive to the vessels which the Minister of Transportation may designate through a Notification, recognizing it specifically necessary, "1951" in these provisions shall read "1952" . 2 As for the vessels referred to in the preceding paragraph, the date of delivery, which is to be designated in the contracts for purchase, shall be prior to April 1, 1952.
