I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Merchandise Certificate Control Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-third day of the third month of the twenty sixth year of Showa (March 23, 1951) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.31 Law for Partial Amendments to the Merchandise Certificate Control Law The Merchandise Certificate Control Law (Law No.28 of 1932) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 1 paragraph 1, "national bond" shall be amended as "money, national bond, local government bond or corporation debenture and the like recognized as sound by the competent Minister" . Next to Article 5, shall be added the following two paragraphs: In case the official concerned inspects the books and other documents under the provision of the preceding paragraph, he shall show the certificate of his status. The authority to inspect under the provision of paragraph 1 shall not be interpreted as having been bestowed for the search of crime. In Article 6, "one thousand yen (\1,000)" shall be amended as "fifty thousand yen (\50,000)" . In Article 7, "three hundred yen (\300)" shall ". be amended as" thirty thousand yen (\30,000)".
