I hereby promulgate the Law concerning Alteration of Responsibility for a Part of Redemption of Agricultural Land Bonds to the General Account. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of Emperor This fifteenth day of the third month of the twenty-sixth year of Showa (March 15, 1951) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.21 Law concerning Alteration of Responsibility for a Part of Redemption of Agricultural Land Bonds to the General Account 1 In order to expedite the redemption by purchase of the agricultural land bonds (meaning the agricultural land bonds prescribed in Article 2 of the Owner-farmer Establishment Special Measures Special Account Law (Law No.44 of 1946)), the Government may alter the responsibility for redemption of the said bonds other than those that have been redeemed by the time of the enforcement of this Law, to the General Account, regardless of the provision of Article 5 paragraph 1 of the Owner-farmer Establishment Special Measures Special Account Law. 2 In regard to the amount of redemption the responsibility therefor altered to the General Account under the provision of the preceding paragraph, the Government shall transfer, as prescribed by the budget, an amount up to the amount equivalent to the said amount, from the Owner-farmer Establishment Special Measures Special Account to the General Account, every fiscal year in and after the fiscal year 1951-52. Supplementary Provision: This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
