I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Patent Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This sixth day of the third month of the twenty-sixth year of Showa (March 6, 1951) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.9 Law for Partial Amendments to the Patent Law The Patent Law (Law No.96 of 1921) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 65 paragraph 1, "\250" , "\250" , "\500" , "\1,000" and "\2,000" shall be respectively amended as "\500" , "\800" , "\1,500" , "\3,000" and "\6,000" ;in paragraph 2 of the same Article, "\5,000" , "\7,500" and "\10,000" shall be respectively amended as "\15,000" , "\25,000" and "\30,000" ;and in paragraph 3 of the same Article, "\500" shall be amended as "\5,000" ;and in paragraph 4 of the same Article, "\3,000" shall be amended as "\30,000" . In the provisions of Article 133-(2) to Article 134-(2) inclusive, "\1,000" shall be amended as "\5,000" . Supplementary Provisions: 1 This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation. 2 In respect of the patent fee which has already been paid or of which period of payment has elapsed prior to the enforcement of this Law, the old provisions shall still apply. 3 In respect of the disposition concerning a fine for an action committed prior to the enforcement of this Law, the old provisions shall still apply.
