Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This sixth day of the first month of the twenty sixth year of Showa (January 6, 1951) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.1 Law for Partial Amendment to the Law concerning the Financial Business by Cooperatives The Law concerning the Financial Business by Cooperatives (Law No.183 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows: The following one paragraph shall be added to Article 2: 3 The Minister of Finance shall, in case an application for a license was made in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1, grant one except when the articles of incorporation, the method of business or the plan of business violates the provisions of laws and orders, or do not conform to the standard as provided for by Cabinet Order.
