I hereby promulgate the Law for Exceptions to Qualification for the Preliminary National Examination for Dentists. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-fourth day of the eighth month of the twenty-fifth year of Showa (August 24, 1950) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.246 Law for Exceptions to Qualification for Preliminary National Examination for Dentists The persons who were entitled to take the examination under the former practice in accordance with the provision of Article 33 paragraph 3 of the Dentists Law (Law No.202 of 1948) and those who, before August 15, 1945, passed the first part of the Dentists Examination conducted by the Governor-General of Korea, or passed the first part of the Dentists Examination conducted by Manchukuo, or obtained the consular license for the dentist in China (including Manchuria and Mongolia) may take the preliminary national examination for dentists which is to be held within 5 years from the day of enforcement of this Law, despite of the provision of Article 12 of the Dentists Law. However, the examination shall not be taken more than twice. Supplementary Provision: This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
