Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This second day of the fifth month of the twenty-fifth year of Showa (May 2, 1950) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.134 Law for Partial Amendments to the Ministry of Telecommunications Establishment Law The Ministry of Telecommunications Establishment Law (Law No.245 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: In Contents, "Section 1 Radio Regulatory Agency (Article 30-38) Section 2 Aeronautical Aids Agency (Article 39-44) "shall be deleted. Article 2 items (12) to (14) inclusive shall be amended as follows: Items (12) to (14) inclusive. Deleted. In Article 4 paragraph 1 item (2) shall be deleted and item (3) shall be made item (2). In Article 5 items (14-2) to (14-5) inclusive shall be deleted. In Article 5 item (18), "item (9), Article 35 item (1)" shall be amended as "item (9)" ;in item (20) of the same Article, "telecommunication service, radio regulation activities" shall be amended as "telecommunication service" ;in item (23) of the same Article, "telecommunication facilities" shall be amended as "telecommunication plant (radio communication equipment excluded)" ;items (24) to (32) inclusive of the same Article shall be deleted;and item (33) shall be made item (24). In Article 9 paragraph 1 items (11-2) to (11-5) inclusive shall be amended as follows: Items (11-2) to (11-5) inclusive. Deleted. In Article 11 item (8), the proviso shall be deleted. In Article 12 item (5), "and Article 6 of the Wireless Telegraph Law (Law No.26, 1915)" shall be deleted. In Article 15 items (8) and (9), "the Radio Regulatory Agency" shall be amended as "the Radio Regulatory Commission." In Article 16 item (15), the proviso shall be deleted;in item (16) of the same Article, "the Radio Regulatory Agency" shall be amended as "the Radio Regulatory Commission." In Article 24 item (20), "the Radio Regulatory Agency" shall be amended as "the Radio Regulatory Commission." In Article 29, "Radio Regulatory Agency" shall be deleted. "Section 1 Radio Regulatory Agency" shall be deleted and Articles 30 to 38 inclusive shall be amended as follows:

"Section 2 Aeronautical Aids Agency" shall be deleted. In Article 45, "Telecommunication Coordination Council," "Radio Wave Technical Council" and "Radio Observatory Stations" shall be deleted. In Article 46 paragraph 2, "(those to be inquired to the Radio Wave Technical Council shall be excluded)" shall be deleted. Article 46-(2) and Article 46-(3) shall be deleted. Article 49 shall be amended as follows:

Article 49. Deleted.

In Article 50, ", Telecommunications Coordination Council and Radio Wave Technical Council" shall be deleted. In Article 54, ", the Radio Regulatory Commissioner" shall be deleted;and ", subsidiary organizations and its local branch offices" shall be amended as "and subsidiary organizations." Supplementary Provision: This Law shall come into force as from the day of enforcement of the Radio Regulatory Commission Establishment Law (Law No.133 of 1950).
