Article 1. The Emigrants'Association Law (Law No.25 of 1927) shall be abolished.

Article 2. The Consumers'Livelihood Cooperative Association Law (Law No.200 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: Next to item 6 of Article 109, shall be added the following one item: 7. Art.14, the Emigrants'Association Law (Law No.25 of 1927).

Article 3. The Emigrants'Associations and the Federation of such Associations that actually exist at the time of abolition of the Emigrants'Association Law shall be dissolved at that time, but the provisions of the same Law shall remain in force within the limits necessary for the Liquidation of the Emigrants'Associations and the Federation of such Associations as the dissolved juridical persons.

Supplementary Provisions: 1. The provisions of Articles 1 and 3 of this Law shall come into force as from May 1, 1950, and the other provisions as from the day of its promulgation;provided, however, that the provision of Article 109 item 7 of the Consumers'Livelihood Cooperative Association Law after amendment shall apply, excluding the part concerning the penal provisions, from the day of the enforcement of the Consumers'Livelihood Cooperative Association Law. 2. With regard to the application of the penal provisions to any act performed before the enforcement of this Law (in the case of the Emigrants'Associations or the Federation of such Associations under Article 3, before the invalidation of the provisions of the Emigrants'Association Law which are in force in accordance with the provisions of the same Article), the Emigrants'Association Law shall remain in force even after the enforcement of this Law (in the case of the Emigrants'Associations or the Federation of such Associations under Article 3, even after the invalidation of the provisions of the Emigrants'Association Law which are in force in accordance with the provision of the same Article).
