Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This first day of the fourth month of the twenty-fifth year of Showa (April 1, 1950) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.83 Law for Partial Amendment to the Medical Service Law The Medical Service Law (Law No.205 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: Article 40 paragraph 1 item (1) shall be amended as follows: (1) Concerning medical profession:Internal Medicine, Psychopathology, Neuropathy, Respiratory Disease, Digestive Trouble (or Gastroenteric Disease), Circulatory Organ Disease, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopaedy, Dermatourology (or Dermatology, Urology), Venereal Disease, Anal Disease, Obstetrics and Gynaecology (or Obstetrics, Gynaecology), Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Physical Treatment Department (or Radiant Rays Department); Supplementary Provision: This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
