I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Establishment Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This first day of the fourth month of the twenty-fifth year of Showa (April 1, 1950) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.80 Law for Partial Amendments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Establishment Law The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Establishment Law (Law No.135 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 12, "Central Liaison Council, Immigration Surveillance Liaison Council"shall be amended as "Preparation Council for Liquidation of Debts Incurred by Japanese Consulates and Japanese Residents'Associations." Article 14 shall be amended as follows:

(Preparation Council for Liquidation of Debts Incurred by Japanese Consulates and Japanese Residents'Associations) Article 14. With respect to the Preparation Council for Liquidation of Debts Incurred by Japanese Consulates and Japanese Residents'Associations, the provisions of the Law pertaining to the Preparation Council for Liquidation of Debts Incurred by Japanese Consulates and Japanese Residents'Associations (Law No.173 of 1949) shall apply.

Article 14-(2) shall be deleted. In Article 17, "Tohoku Liaison and Coordination Office; Sendai City" shall be amended as "Tohoku Liaison and Coordination Office; Sendai City Kanto Liaison and Coordination Office; Tokyo-To ." Supplementary Provisions: 1. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation. 2. The Cabinet Order for Central Liaison Council (Cabinet Order No.132 of 1949) shall be abolished. 3. The Cabinet Order concerning Immigration Surveillance (Cabinet Order No.299 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows: Article 5 shall be amended as follows:
