I hereby promulgate the Law for Deferment of Redemption Term for the Borrowings of General Account, Imperial Railways Account and Communication Services Special Account in the Fiscal Year 1946-47. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This seventh day of the third month of the twenty-fifth year of Showa (March 7, 1950) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.6 Law for Deferment of Redemption Term for the Borrowings of General Account, Imperial Railways Account and Communication Services Special Account in the Fiscal Year 1946-47 Regardless of the provisions of the Law concerning Borrowings for the Resources of the Termination of War Expenses in the General Account for the Fiscal Year 1946-47 (Law No.10 of 1947) and the Law concerning Borrowings in order to Cover the Expenditures for the Fiscal Year 1946-47 in the Revenues Sub-account of the Imperial Railways Special Account and in the Business Sub-account of Communication Special Account (Law No.55 of 1946), the Government is authorized to conclude the contract to defer the term of redemption of the borrowings made under the provisions of these laws until the fiscal year 1952-53. Supplementary Provisions: 1. This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation. 2. The Enforcement Law of the Japanese National Railways Law (Law No.105 of 1949) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 9 paragraph 5, "In case of having converted the public bonds and borrowings reverted to the General Account in accordance with the provision of paragraph 1" , shall be amended as "In case the term of redemption for the public bonds and borrowings reverted to the General Account in accordance with the provision of paragraph 1 is defered or the conversion therefor is made."
