Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twelfth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-fourth year of Showa (December 12, 1949) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.253 Law for Partial Amendments to the Law concerning the Compensation, etc. of judges The Law concerning the Compensation, etc. of Judges (Law No.75 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 9, "the Law concerning Salaries and Other Compensations granted to Prime Minister, etc." and "the overtime allowance prescribed in the Law concerning Temporary Measure for Allowance of the Government Personnel with the Enforcement of the Labor Standard Law and Others (Law No.167 of 1947)" shall respectively be amended as "the persons enumerated in Article 1 items (1) to (18) inclusive of the Law concerning Salary and Other Compensations for National Public Service Personnel in the Special Government Service (Law No.252 of 1949)" and "the overtime allowance, holiday allowance, and night-duty allowance based on the Law administering the New Pay (Law No.46 of 1948)" .
