I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the Transfer from the General Account for Covering the Shortage of Revenues in the Postal Services Special Account in the Fiscal Year 1949-50. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This sixth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-fourth year of Showa (December 6, 1949) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.240 Law concerning the Transfer from the General Account for Covering the Shortage of Revenues in the Postal Services Special Account in the Fiscal Year 1949-50 The Government is authorized to transfer the amount not exceeding 412,717,000 yen from the General Account to the Postal Services Special Account for the purpose of covering the shortage of revenues in the said Special Account, in the Fiscal Year 1949-50. With respect to the transfer prescribed in the preceding paragraph, the Government shall make the transfer from the Postal Services Special Account to the General Account later on, as prescribed in the budget, up to the amount equivalent to the said transfer.
