I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Bicycle Race Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-fourth day of the sixth month of the twenty-fourth year of Showa (June 24, 1949) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.217 Law for Partial Amendments to the Bicycle Race Law The following partial amendments shall be made to the Bicycle Race Law (Law No.209 of 1948): In Article 1 paragraph 1, "cities" and "designated cities" shall be amended as "cities, towns or villages" and "designated cities, towns or villages" respectively. In Article 4, "designated cities" shall be amended as "designated cities, towns or villages" . In Article 6, "mayors of the designated cities" shall be amended as "mayors of the designated cities, towns or villages" . Supplementary Provision: This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
