I hereby promulgate the Law for Partial Amendments to the Price Adjustment Public Corporation Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This nineteenth day of the fifth month of the twenty-fourth year of Showa (May 19, 1949) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.80 Law for Partial Amendments to the Price Adjustment Public Corporation Law The Price Adjustment Public Corporation Law (Law No.62 of 1947) shall partially be amended as follows: In Art.20, Par.5, "officials concerned" shall read "officials or employees of the Price Adjustment Public Corporation whom the Director-General of Price Board designates" and in Par.6 of the same Aaticle, next to "officials concerned" shall be added "or officials or employees of the Price Adjustment Public Corporation." Next to Art.22 shall be added the following one Article:

Article 22-(2). The Director-General of Price Board may, if he deems it necessary for proper adjustment of the price and the like, order the dealers to pay in a part of the price and the like which is the object of the payment concerned to the necessary extent to the Price Adjustment Public Corporation. The Price Adjustment Public Corporation must, in accordance with the stipulation of the Director-General of Price Board, serve the dealers with the funds to cover the above price and the like, which is the object of the payment concerned.

In Art.25, "Art.23, Par.1" shall read "Art.22-(2), Par.1 and Art.23, Par.1." Supplementary Provision: This Law shall come into for e as from the day of its promulgation. Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru
