Law for Partial Amendment to the Special City Planning Law
A part of the Special City Planning Law (Law No.19, 1946) shall be amended as follows:
"Imperial Ordinance" shall read "Cabinet Order," and "Prefectural Government (Chiho Chokan)" shall read "prefectural governor."
Article 16 shall read as follows:
Article 16.
In case, in consequence of the land replotting carried out according to Art.5, Par.1 of the Law, there is any decrease in the sum total of the price of the house lots within the land replotting area after replotting compared with that of the same before replotting, indemnity shall be given to the land-owners or the persons concerned for the amount of decrease.
The way of estimation of the sum total of the price of the house lots after replotting indicated in the foregoing paragraph shall be decided by a Cabinet Order.
With respect to the land replotting of Par.1 which is to be designated by the competent Minister, the land replotting area shall be divided into several districts, and the provisions of the foregoing two paragraphs shall apply to each district.
In Art.18, Par.5, "the official" shall read as "the personnel," "members of Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly and of prefectural or municipal assembly" shall read "members of the assembly of Tokyo Metropolis, a prefecture, or a city" ;in Par.6 of the same Article, "members of the city, ward, town or village assembly concerned shall read" members of the assembly of the city, ward, town or village concerned."
Supplementary Provision:
The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
