Article 1. The State may, for the time being, subsidize a local public entity a part of expenses for repairing roads, prescribed in the Road Law (Law No.58 of 1919). Necessary matters concerning the subsidy mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be provided by Cabinet Order.

Article 2. If the Minister of Construction deems it necessary, he may, for the time being, repairanational road notwithstanding the provisions of Article 20, Paragraph 1 of the Road Law. In the case referred to in the preceding paragraph the competency of the road administrator shall be administered by the Minister of Construction in accordance with the provisions prescribed by Cabinet Order. The expenditures for the repairs prescribed in Paragraph 1 shall be paid by the State. However, the local public entity shall bear a part of the expenditures in accordance with Cabinet Order.
