Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This fourteenth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-third year of Showa (December 14, 1948) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.240 The Law concerning the Partial Amendment to the Law fixing the Sum of the Fees concerning Family Registration The Law fixing the Sum of the Fees concerning Family Registration (Law No.51 of 1948) shall be partially amended as follows: In Article 2, Article 3 and Article 4, Paragraphs 1 and 2, "5 yen" shall read "12 yen." Supplementary Provision: The present Law shall come into force as from the day when fifteen days have elapsed reckoning from the day of its promulgation.
