I hereby promulgate the Law restricting Disasters mentioned in Article 25-(2) of the Law providing Temporary Measures concerning Leasehold Land and Leased Building in the Cities damaged by War and circumscribing District to which the Provisions of the said Article shall apply. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This sixth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-third year of Showa (December 6, 1948) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.227 The Law restricting Disasters mentioned in Article 25-(2) of the Law providing Temporary Measures concerning Leasehold Land and Leased Building in the Cities damaged by War and circumscribing District to which the Provisions of the said Article shall apply Disasters mentioned in Article 25-(2) of the Law providing Temporary Measures concerning Leasehold Land and Leased Building in the Cities damaged by War (Law No.13 of 1946) shall be restricted as mentioned in the former column of the following list, and districts to which the provisions of the said Article shall apply concerning the disasters mentioned in the abovesaid column shall be circumscribed as mentioned in the latter column of the said list: Disaster District Earthquake disaster which occurred in the Hokuriku District on June 28, 1948, and fire disaster which was caused by the earthquake Fukui Prefecture Fukui-shi; in Anufa-gun Sakau-mura, Togo-mura, Shimo-monju-mura, Rokujo-mura, Yashiro-mura ; in Yoshida-gun Nishi-fujishima-mura, Kawai-mura, Morita-machi, Naka-fujishima-mura, Okabo-mura, Higashi-fujishima-mura, Matsuoka-machi, Goryogashima-mura ; in Sakai-gun Ashihara-machi, Kitagata-mura, Hosorogi-mura, Tsuboe-mura, Ii-mura, Higashi-jugo-mura, Kanatsu-machi, Nagaune-mura, Maruoka-machi, Takaboko-mura, Isobe-mura, Harue-machi, Oishi-mura, Hyogo-mura, Oseki-mura, Honjo-mura, Kibe-mura, Hamashigo-mura, Uzura-mura, Daianji-mura . Flood damage which occurred in the Fukui District on July 24, 1948 Fukui Prefecture Fukui-shi; in Yoshida-gun Nishi-fujishima-mura; Naka-fujishima-mura . Supplementary Provision: The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
