I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the Partial Amendment to the Law of Temporary Measures relating to the Costs of Action and Others. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This fourth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-third year of Showa (December 4, 1948) Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Law No.225 Partial amendment to the Law of Temporary Measures relating to the Costs of Action and Others (Law No.2 of 1944) shall be made as follows: In Article 2, "twenty-five times" shall read "seventy times" . In Article 3, "forty yen" , "one hundred and twenty yen" , "two hundred yen" , "one hundred and fifty yen" and "eight yen" shall read respectively "one hundred and twenty yen" , "three hundred and sixty yen" , "six hundred yen" , "four hundred and eighty yen" and "twenty-four yen" . In paragraph 1 of Article 4, "three yen" , "one yen fifty sen" and "three yen sixty sen" shall read respectively "fifteen yen" , "five yen" and "twelve yeu" . In paragraph 2 of the same Article, "up to 500 yen 15 yen up to 2,000 yen 25 yen up to 5,000 yen 35 yen up to 10,000 yen 45 yen up to 30,000 yen 60 yen up to 50,000 yen 75 yen more than 50,000 yen 100 yen" shall read "up to 500 yen 20 yen up to 2,000 yen 30 yen up to 5,000 yen 45 yen up to 10,000 yen 60 yen up to 50,000 yen 100 yen up to 100,000 yen 150 yen more than 100,000 yen 200 yen", in paragraph 3 of the same Article, "up to 500 yen 30 yen up to 2,000 yen 65 yen up to 5,000 yen 100 yen up to 10,000 yen 150 yen up to 30,000 yen 250 yen up to 50,000 yen 350 yen" shall read "up to 500 yen 40 yen up to 2,000 yeu 80 yen up to 5,000 yen 130 yen up to 10,000 yen 200 yen up to 50,000 yen 400 yen up to 100,000 yen 600 yen" and "in case of exceeding 50,000 yen, 40 yen shall be added per 10,000 yen, provided that in this case the amount of less than 10,000 yen shall be deemed 10,000 yen" shall read "in case of exceeding 100,000 yen,100 yen shall be added per 20,000 yen, provided that in this case the amount of less than 20,000 yen shall be deemed 20,000 yen," in paragraph 4 of the same Article, "eighteen yen" , "forty-five yen" , "eight yen" , "two hundred yen" and "one hundred and fifty yen" shall read respectively "sixty yen" , "one hundred and forty yen" , "twenty-four yen" , "six hundred yen" and "four hundred and eighty yen" , and in paragraph 5 of the same Article, "twenty-seven times" shall read"eighty-five times respectively. Supplementary Provisions: 1. The present Law shall come into force on the day when fifteen days have elapsed as from the day of its promulgation. 2.
