    <LawTitle>Law for Establishment of the Deliberation Comission on the Measures for Repatriates</LawTitle>
    <MainProvision>
      <Article Num="1">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 1.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>Based upon the resolution concerning the measures for repatriates, which was adopted in the Second Session of the Diet, the Prime Minister's Office Deliberation Commission on the measures for Repatriates (hereinafter to be called Deliberation Commission) shall be established in order to conduct investigations and deliberations on the following matters:</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
          <Item Num="1">
            <ItemTitle>1.</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Matters concerning the promotion of repatriation;</Sentence>
            </ItemSentence>
          </Item>
          <Item Num="2">
            <ItemTitle>2.</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Matters concerning the relief of bereaved families and dependents of unrepatriated persons;</Sentence>
            </ItemSentence>
          </Item>
          <Item Num="3">
            <ItemTitle>3.</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Matters concerning the employment, farming and enterprises of the repatriates, as a measure for their regeneration;</Sentence>
            </ItemSentence>
          </Item>
          <Item Num="4">
            <ItemTitle>4.</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Matters concerning the overseas assets of the repatriates;</Sentence>
            </ItemSentence>
          </Item>
          <Item Num="5">
            <ItemTitle>5.</ItemTitle>
            <ItemSentence>
              <Sentence>Matters concerning the repatriates, other than the above items.</Sentence>
            </ItemSentence>
          </Item>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Deliberation Commission shall come under the supervision of the Prime Minister.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="2">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 2.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Deliberation Commission shall, upon deliberations on representations of civilians concerning the matters stated in par.1, Article 1, and investigation into actual circumstances, study the measures for repatriates and report its result to the Prime Minister.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="3">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 3.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Deliberation Commission shall be composed of one (1) chairman, and members not exceeding fifteen (15) persons.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Minister of Welfare concurrently shall be appointed the chairman.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="3">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Prime Minister shall appoint the members from among the Vice-Ministers of the Ministries concerned, the President of the Sepatriation Relief Agency, representatives of repatriation organizations authorized by the Welfare Minister and the men of learning and experience.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="4">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 4.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The chairman shall administer the business of the Commission.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>In case the chairman is prevented for some un-avoidable reason from performing his duties, a member nominated by the Prime Minister shall act for him.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="5">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 5.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The Deliberation Commission shall have the following personnel in order to dispose of the business of the Commission:</Sentence>

          </List>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum>The Chief Secretary:one person;other personnel:several persons.</ParagraphNum>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence/>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="3">
          <ParagraphNum>The Chief Secretary shall be appointed by the Prime Minister from among the first-class officials of the Welfare Ministry.</ParagraphNum>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The officials other them the Chief Secretary shall be appointed by the Chairman, of the Deliberative Commission.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>

    <SupplProvision>
      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provisions:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Article Num="6">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 6.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence Function="main" Num="1">The date of enforcement of this Law shall be set by a cabinet order, provided that it shall be within thirty days from the promulgation of this Law.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="7">
        <ArticleTitle>Article 7.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>This Law shall be valid for only one year after its enforcement.</Sentence>
