    <LawTitle>Law amending a Part of the Patent Attorneys Law</LawTitle>
    <MainProvision>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The following amendments shall be made to a part of the Patent Attorneys Law (Law No.100,1921 1921):</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
        <AmendProvision>
          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>"within the Empire" shall read "within the country" ; "Japanese subject" shall read "Japanese national" ; "Imperial Ordinance" shall read "Cabinet Order."</Sentence>
          </AmendProvisionSentence>
        </AmendProvision>
        <AmendProvision>
          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>In Art.7, "twenty yen" shall read "one thousand and five hundred yen."</Sentence>
          </AmendProvisionSentence>
        </AmendProvision>
        <AmendProvision>
          <AmendProvisionSentence>
            <Sentence>The following Article shall be added next to Art.9:</Sentence>
          </AmendProvisionSentence>

            <Article Num="9_2">
              <ArticleTitle>Art.9-(2).</ArticleTitle>
              <Paragraph Num="1">
                <ParagraphNum/>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence>A patent attorney may act as a counsel concerning the actions provided in Art.128-(2) of the Patent Law, applicable mutatis mutandis according to the provisions of Art.128-(2) of the Patent Law, Art.26 of the Utility Model Law, Art.25 of the Design Law and Art.24 of the Trade Mark Law.</Sentence>

              </Paragraph>
              <Paragraph Num="2">
                <ParagraphNum/>
                <ParagraphSentence>
                  <Sentence>The provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article shall apply mutatis mutandis in respect to the counsel referred to in the preceding Paragraph.</Sentence>

              </Paragraph>

            <Sentence>In Art.18, item 2, "five hundred-yen" shall read "one thousand yen."</Sentence>

            <Sentence>In Art.22, "five hundred yen" shall read "three thousand yen."</Sentence>

            <Sentence>In Art.22-(4), "one thousand yen" shall read "ten thousand yen."</Sentence>

      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>This Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
