Article 1. The partial amendments shall be made to the Mail Law (Law No.165 of 1947) as follows: In Paragraph 2 of Article 21, "1 yen 20 sen" shall read "5 yen." In Paragraph 2 of Article 22, "50 sen" and "1 yen" shall read "2 yen" and "4 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 4 of Article 23, "50 sen" and "15 sen" shall read "2 yen" and "50 sen," respectively, and in Paragraph 5 of the same Article, "200 yen" shall read "800 yen." In Paragraph 2 of Article 25, "100 yen" and "150 yen" shall read "400 yen" and "600 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 2 of Article 26, "1 yen 20 sen" and "15 sen" shall read "4 yen" and "50 sen" respectively. In Paragraph 2 of Article 27, "15 sen" shall read "50 sen." In Paragraph 1 of Article 31, "5 yen" and "3 yen" shall read "20 yen" and "12 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 3 of Article 34, "100 yen" shall read "400 yen." In Paragraph 2 of Article 43, "2 yen 50 sen," "5 yen," "40 yen" and "30 yen" shall read "10 yen" "20 yen," "160 yen" and "120 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 1 of Article 48, "360 yen," "300 yen," "240 yen" and "20 yen" shall read "1,440 yen," "1,200 yen," "960 yen" and "90 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 2 of Article 50, "200 yen," 120 yen "and" 80 yen "shall read" 720 yen, "480 yen" and "300 yen," respectively, and in Paragraph 3 of the same article, "20 yen" shall read "72 yen." In Paragraph 3 of Article 58, "5 yen" shall read "20 yen." In Paragraph 4 of Article 59, "15 yen" and "10 yen" shall read "60 yen" and "40 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 3 of Article 60, "4 yen" shall read "15 yen." In Paragraph 3 of Article 61, "10 yen" shall read "30 yen." In Article 62, Paragraph 4 shall read as follows: The fee certification of delivery shall be 30 yen;the fee for the service provided in the preceding paragraph shall be 45 yen. In Paragraphs 3 of Article (63, "10 yen" and "5 yen" shall read "30 yen" and "15 yen" respectively. In Paragraph 4 of Article 64, and Paragraph 3 of Article 66, "10 yen" shall read "30 yen." In Paragraph 2 of Article 68, "100 yen" shall read "400 yen."

Article 2. Partial amendments shall be made to the Postal Savings Law (Law No.144 of 1947) as follows: In Paragraph 2 of Articles 18 and 39, "one yen" shall be amended to read "4 yen." In Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 67, "two-thousandths" and "one sen" shall read "one hundredth" and "5 sen" respectively.

Article 3. Partial amendments shall be made to the Postal Money Order Law (Law No.59 of 1948) as follows: In Paragraph 1 of Article 16, "5,000 yen and" 1,000 yen "shall read" 10,000 yen "and" 2,000 yen"respectively. Item 1 to Item 3 inclusive of Paragraph 1 of Article 17 shall read as follows: 1. Ordinary money order; Up to\1,000 \40 ,, 3,000 60 ,, 5,000 80 ,, 10,000 120 2. Telegraphic money order; Up to\500 \100 ,, 1,000 120 ,, 3,000 150 ,, 5,000 200 ,, 10,000 250 3. Postal order; Up to\100 \10 ,, 500 15 ,, 1,000 25 ,, 2,000 35 In Paragraph 2 of Article 21, Paragraph 3 of Article 32 and Paragraph 2 of Article 33, "one yen" shall read "four yen." Article 4. Partial amendments shall be made to the Postal Transfer Savings Law (Law No.60 of 1948) as follows: Item 1 to Item 3 inclusive of Paragraph 1 of Article 18 shall read as follows: 1. Pay-in: Ordinary pay-in: Up to\500 \10 Above 500 20 Telegraphic pay-in: Up to\500 \70 ,, 1,000 90 ,, 5,000 120 ,, 10,000 150 For above 10,000 yen, 70 yen shall be charged additionally for every 10,000 yen or fraction thereof, besides 150 yen. 2. In Paragraph 4 of Article 27, Paragraph 6 of Article 35, Paragraph of Article 46 and Paragraph 2 of Article 49, "one yen" shall read "four yen." In Paragraph 1 of Article 62, "one yen and fifty sen" shall read "two yen" and "two yen" shall Lead "eight yen" respectively.

Article 5. Partial amendments shall be made to Matters Relating to the Treatment of Frozen Payment under the Ordinance of Financial Emergency Measures (Cabinet Order No.1 of 1946) as follows: In Item 1 of Article 2, "1,000 yen," 500 yen "and" 2 yen "shall read" 2,000 yen, "1,000 yen" and "10 yen" respectively. In Item 2 of the same Article, "5,000," 3,000 yen "and" 25 yea "shall read" 10,000 yen, "5,000 yen" and "100 yea" respectively.
