    <LawTitle>Special Instances of the "Riyoshi Law"</LawTitle>

      <Article Num="1">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.1.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>Any person who was actually studying, on January 1, 1948, at the "riyoshi" training school approved or designated by the prefectural governor under the provisions of old ordinances and the graduates of which are qualified to obtain licence of "riyoshi" may be able to be "riyoshi" with the licence of the prefectural governor regardless of the provisions of Art.2 item 1 or Art.3 item 1 of the Riyoshi Law (Law No.234, 1947), when the person completes regular course fixed in the school.</Sentence>

      <Article Num="2">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.2.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>Any person who was actually engaged in the hair-dressing business or the beauty art business as an assistant in order to be a "riyoshi" in future or who was studying at the "riyoshi" training school on January 1, 1948 may be able to be a "riyoshi" with the licence of the prefectural governor regardless of the provisions of Art.2 item 2 or Art.3 item 2 or the Riyoshi Law, when the person passes the examination for barber or beauty artist until June 30, 1950.</Sentence>

      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The present Law shall come into force as from July 1, 1948.</Sentence>
