I hereby promulgate the Law for the Temporary Establishment of the Board of Reparations. Article 1. A Board of Reparations shall be established temporarily under the jurisdiction of the Prime Minister to deal with the matters specified below: 1. Planning and drawing up of plans on basic problems connected with the execution of reparations; 2. Coordination, propulsion and inspection of the affairs of the Government agencies directly responsible for operations connected with the execution of reparations; 3. Matters concerning the transfer of reparation object; 4. Research in reparation problems.

Article 2. The Board of Reparations shall be headed by a Director-General. The post of Director-General shall be held by a Minister of State. The Director-General shall manage the affairs of the Board, direct and supervise the personnel under him and effect at his discretion any change to be made in the status of third class officials.

Article 3. Necessary matters with regard to the personnel of the Board of Reparations shall be stipulated by Cabinet Order. The details of organization of the Board of Reparations shall be determined by the Director-General.
