Attached table Coat Texture Dark navy-blue woollen cloth Form Collar Open style shown in the illustration Front Three silver buttons are sewed in one row. Two pockets on the left and right, and each pocket has one flap. One silver button is sewed respectively in breast pockets. Style and size shown in the illustration. Back A sash is attached to it and has two buttons. Style shown in the illustration. Shoulder-straps End of strap is sewed into a seam. One silver button is sewed in the inside, on the part near the end of cut side, sun symbol is attached. Sun symbol for 1st or 2nd class official is made of golden metal, for assistant police inspector or police inspector of 3rd class official it is made of silver metal and for police sergeant or police woman it is made of silver cloth. Style and size shown in the illustration. Arm-straps Dark violet striped cloth line is attached to it. Style and size are as follows: Striped cloth line is 15 m.m. of width and others are the same as policeman uniform and fire man uniform except wearing no golden or silver close parallels lines and no sun symbol. Skirt Texture Same as coat Form Same as attached illustration Summer Coat Texture Light yellow hemp or cotton cloth. Form Collar Same as coat. Front Four buttons similar col-our to texture are sewed in line. Two pockets are fixed on the right and left sides. Each pocket has two plaits and one button. Style shown in the illustration. Sleeves Long sleeves with cuffs, button up. Shoulder-straps Same as coat except but-tons of colour similar to texture and wearing no sun symbol. Rank-strap Same as coat. Summer Skirt Texture Same as summer coat. Form Same as skirt. Trousours Texture Same as coat. Form Fixed above ankle. Style shown in the illustration. Cap Texture Dark navy-blue woollen cloth, but in summer, light yellow hemp or cotton field-cap style. Style shown in the illustration. Badge Style shown in the illustration. "A" Style over-coat Form Five black buttons are sewed on collar to fix a hood. A hood has one strap and is sewed in three black buttons. A sleeve has striped line of dark violet same as the over-cont. Style shown in the illustration. Shoulder-straps End of strap is sewed into a seam. End of outside of strap is sewed in by one golden button for upper police sergeant or one silver but-ton for police woman. Style shown in the illustration. "B" Style overcoat Texture Light-blue or similar color woollen cloth or rain-proof cloth. Form Rain-coat style, proper length. Turned down collar. Trunk of the body is fixed by a band. A hood and hood-fittings are same as "A" style over-coat. Style shown in the illustration. Woman police badge According to police-man uniform and fire-man uniform regulations. Remarks: 1. Trousers are to be used in cases of necessity according to state of a district or nature of duty. 2. Form of special cap or cloth for cold weather necessary according to state of a district or nature of duty, is to be regulated by the prefectural governor by permission of the Home Minister. 3. In case of special necessity, the Home Minister can regulate temporary special instance regarding texture and fitting materials in the uniform system prescribed by this Ordinance.
