I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the amendments to the Regulations governing the Organization of the Foodstuff Laboratory in Staple Food Administration Bureau and cause the same to be promulgated.

Regulations governing the Organization of the Foodstuff Laboratory
Article 1.
The Foodstuff Laboratory belongs to the jurisdiction of the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, and it shall be responsible for the excution of following matters:

Examination, research and investigation concerning the utilizations, manufacture of foodstuff material and stock of foodstuff.

2.
Analysis, judgment and official approval concerning foodstuff.

3.
Delivery of manufactured goods produced or manufactured for examination or research and of their raw material or materials.

4.
A short training course or lecture concerning utilization, manufacture and stock of foodstuff.
Article 2.
The personnel of Foodstuff Laboratory shall be as fallows:
Chief of Foodstuff Laboratory
Technical official of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
Full-time service member 11
2nd class
member 19
3rd class
Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
Full-time service member 3
3rd class
Technical official (2nd class) of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry shall be appointed the Chief or Foodstuff Laboratory.
Article 3.
The Chief or Foodstuff Laboratory shall manage his business by the order and superintendence of Minister of Agriculture and Forestry
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as form the day of its promulgation.
