I hereby give My sanction to the Imperial Ordinance concerning the partial amendments to the Regulations governing the Organization of the Structure of the Reclamation Committee and cause the same to be promulgated.

Imperial Ordinance No. 37
A part of Ordinance concerning the Regulations governing the Organization of the Structure of the Reclamation Committee shall be amended as follows:
Article 8-2. The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry or the local Governor may set up in the Central Reclamation Committee or in the Reclamation Committee of the Metropolis, Hokkaido, a Special Prefecture or Prefecture the Department which is to administer the affairs coming under the jurisdiction of the Reclamation Committee.
The Department shall have a Director; the position of the Director shall be filled with the Chairman of the Committee or the member nominated by the Chairman.
Members and temporary members who are to belong to the Department shall be nominated by the Chairman.
The Committe may, in accordance with its regulations, deem the resolution of the Department to be that of the Committee.
Supplementary Provision:
The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
