I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the Application of the Urban Building Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-third day of the twelfth month of the twenty-second year of Showa (December 23, 1947) Prime Minister KATAYAMA Tetsu Law No.228 The Urban Building Law shall, concerning such special buildings mentioned in Art.14 of the same Law as schools, assembly-halls, theatres, etc., for the time being, apply as well to the districts other than those districts in which the same Law shall apply in accordance with the provisions of Art.23 of the same Law with the exception of the provisions of Art.1 to Art.6, Art.10 to Art.13, Art.15, Art.22 and Art.23.
