I hereby promulgate the Law for Exception to Qualifications for being appointed as Assistant Procurators. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This seventeenth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-second year of Showa (December 17, 1947) Prime Minister KATAYAMA Tetsu Law No.199 Assistant Procurators may, within one year from the effective date of this Law. notwitnstanding the provisions of Article 18, Paragraph 2 of the Board of Public Procurators Law, be appointed through selection by the Assistant Procurators Selection Committee, from among persons who possess the knowledge and experience, necessary for performing the duties of assistant procurators.
