I hereby promulgate the Law specifying Disasters mentioned in Article 25-(2) of the Law providing Temporary Measures concerning Leasehold Land and Leased Building in the Cities damaged by War and Specifying Districts to which the provisions of the said Article shall apply. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This tenth day of the twelfth month of the twenty-second year of Showa (December 10, 1947) Prime Minister KATAYAMA Tetsu Law No.160 Disasters mentioned in Article 25-(2) of the Law providing Temporary Measures concerning Leasehold Land and Leased Building in the Cities damaged by war shall be restricted as mentioned in the former column of the following list, and districts to which the provisions of the said Article shall apply as to the disasters mentioned in the above said column shall be specified as mentioned in the latter column of the said list: Disaster District Storm and flood disaster which occurred in Kyushu district on August 27, 1945 Nobeoka City in Miyazaki Prefecture Storm and flood disaster which occurred in Kyushu district and Chugaku district on Septem ber 17, 1945 Miyakonojo City and Nobeoka City in Miyazaki Prefecture Earthquake disaster which occurred in Nankai district on December 21, 1946 and fire disaster which resulted from the said disaster Shingu City in Wakayama Prefecture Kochi City and Nakamura-machi in Hata-gun, in Kochi Prefecture Fire disaster which occurred in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture on April 20, 1947 Iida City in Nagano Prefecture Fire disaster which occurred in Nakaminato-machi, Naka-gun, Ibaragi Prefecture on April 29, 1947 Nakaminato-machi in Naka-gun, Ibaragi Prefecture Supplementary Provision: The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
