I hereby promulgate the Law concerning the partial amendment to be made to the Private Railway Law. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month of the twenty-second year of Shows (November 24, 1947) Prime Minister KATAYAMA Tetsu Law No.139 The Private Railway Law shall be amended as follows: In Art.1, Par.3, the words "and an aerial cable tramway" shall be added immediately after the clause "which connects with a government or private railway."

Art.29 shall be deleted.
