    <LawTitle>Petition Law</LawTitle>
    <MainProvision>
      <Article Num="1">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.1.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The provisions of the present Law shall apply to the petition, of not otherwise provided for by a law.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="2">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.2.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The petition shall be made by a written form by entering the name (the title in the case of a judicial person) and domicile (address, in the case of having not domicile) of the petitioner.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="3">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.3.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence Num="1">The petition shall be filed to the governmental or public office which has the jurisdiction for petition matters. The petition for the Emperor shall be filed to the Cabinet.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
        <Paragraph Num="2">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The petition may be filed to the Cabinet, if the competent governmental or public office for petition matter is indistinct.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="4">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.4.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>When the petition is filed, by mistake, to the other governmental or public office than that as provoded for by the preceding paragraph, the said office shall indicate the legal office to the petitioner, or transmit the said petition of the legal office.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="5">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.5.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>The petition in conformity with the present Law, shall be received and disposed of in sincerity by the governmental or public office.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>
        </Paragraph>
      </Article>
      <Article Num="6">
        <ArticleTitle>Art.6.</ArticleTitle>
        <Paragraph Num="1">
          <ParagraphNum/>
          <ParagraphSentence>
            <Sentence>Any person shall not be treated otherwise for filing a petition.</Sentence>
          </ParagraphSentence>

    <SupplProvision>
      <SupplProvisionLabel>Supplementary Provision:</SupplProvisionLabel>
      <Paragraph Num="1">
        <ParagraphNum/>
        <ParagraphSentence>
          <Sentence>The present Law shall come into force as from the day of enforcement of the Japanese Constitution.</Sentence>
        </ParagraphSentence>
