I hereby give My sanction to the Law concerning the Borrowings for the Resources of the Termination of War Expenses in the General Account for the Fiscal Year of 1946-47, for which the concurrence of the Imperial Diet has been obtained, and cause the same to be promulgated. Signed:HIROHITO, Seal of the Emperor This twenty-first day of the second month of the twenty-second year of Showa (February 21, 1947) Countersigned: Prime Minister YOSHIDA Shigeru Minister or Finance ISHIBASHI Tanzan Law No.10 Government shall hereby be authorized to make the borrowings within the amount of \10,000,000,000 besides the amount of loan authorized by other laws, in order to cover the Termination of War expenses in the Supplementary Budget for the 1946-47 fiscal year to be submitted to this session of the Diet. Government shall hereby be authorized to make the borrowings for the fiscal year of 1947-48, besides the amount of loan authorized by other laws, in order to cover the expenses stated in the preceding paragraph which are to be transferred to the fiscal year of 1947-48. But the aggregate amount of the borrowing in this paragraph and the preceding one shall not exceed the limit provided for in the preceding paragraph. The term of redemption of the borrowings in the foregoing two paragraphs shall be within three years. Supplementary Provision: The present Law shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
