Article 1. Public Prosecutor's Office to every District and Local Court shall have Assistant Prosecutors. Assistant Prosecutor means Judicial Police Official provided in Article 248 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Article 2. This fixed number of Assistant Prosecutors shall be as follows: 60 persons (full time) 2nd Class 540 persons (full time) 3rd Class

Article 3. Minister of Justice may entrust Chief Public Prosecutor of every District Court with powers concerning appointment, dismissal and promotion of Assistant Prosecutor of the third class, attached to every Public Prosecutor's Office of District Court and also to every Public Prosecutor's Office within the jurisdictional territory of every District Court.

Supplementary Provisions: This Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation. A part of the Ordinance concerning the Classification of Shinnin Rank and Other Official Ranks shall be amended as follows: In Ministry of Justice Section of the Classification of Shinnin Rank and Other Official Ranks, the following addition shall be made under the paragraph of Educational Officials of Ministry of Justice. assistant prosecutor ditto
