Article 1. In Order to deal with the affairs in connection with construction and repair of troop housings, staying quarters and other structures and equipments and procurement of fixtures for them as per requirements of the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers; a Bureau of Special Construction is established in the Board of Reconstruction.

Article 2. The under-mentioned personnel are appointed in the Board of Reconstruction and posted to the Bureau of Special Construction: Director of Bureau Chief of Division Cabinet Secretaries 1 full-time I Class 23 full-time II Class Cabinet Technical Officials 43 full-time II Class Cabinet Secretaries or Technical Officials 106 full-time III Class Two of II Class Secretaries or Technical Officials above mentioned may be of I Class.

Article 3. The following two divisions are set up in the Bureau of Special Construction, Board of Reconstruction. Business Division Construction Division The assignment of duties to each Division shall be decided by the President of the Board of Reconstruction.

Article 4. The Director of Bureau shall be I Class Cabinet Secretary, who shall manage affairs of the Bureau by order of superior official.

Article 5. The chief of Division shall be I Class or II Class Secretary or Technical Official, who shall manage affairs of respective Division by order of superior officials.

Supplementary Provisions: The present Ordinance shall come into force as from the day of its promulgation.
